Redemptive Life Academy predicates its mission of “educating leaders for the 21st century” upon an unequivocal commitment to the creation of a “comprehensive culture of excellence” fostering academic achievement and holistic lifestyles.
Our educational philosophy is founded upon the presupposition that in an age of increasing cultural deterioration and moral degeneration, there is no greater parenting task than that of providing for our children a safe and wholesome educational environment that fosters holistic development of our children’s mind, body and spirit, engenders a healthy sense of self-responsibility, and instills respect and concern for the health, safety and welfare of their fellow man as a lifestyle practice.
We accept as a sacred trust the opportunity to mentor and train a rising generation to appreciate their God given talents, skills and resources and to use them to help others along the way, and we recognize that it is our daily instructional and lifestyle interaction that looms most prominent in the development of holistic, socially interactive, and community responsible leaders for generations to come.
Our comprehensive educational approach is grounded in the first instance in its unapologetic respect for and emphasis upon traditional Judeo-Christian values as the unalterable foundation for successful holistic lifestyles.
These values however are supplemented by the implementation of strategically focused operational components, all designed to create objectively measured goals and objectives which are in turn regularly monitored, evaluated and adjusted throughout the academic year. These components include:
KEY COMPONENT #1INTEGRATED INFORMATION SYSTEMS
Redemptive Life Academy structures its educational goals and objectives as a “system wide” integrated objective system. Accordingly, with due deference for the individual innovativeness of each classroom instructor, the entire educational staff works together as a TEAM to insure that the objectives of each grade level are not only being met with respect to that immediate grade level, but also with a view toward meeting the preparatory goals and objectives of the institution at large. Thus, while standard achievement measurements may indicate that the individual class is ranked at a superior percentile when compared to a national standard, it may nevertheless be subjected to an entirely different, and higher standard of achievement with reference to the institutions preparatory goals. Redemptive Life Academy’s instructional modality has been modified to a comprehensive “cooperative learning” environment. In this widely acclaimed instructional technique, students are assigned in mixed ability learning TEAMS. In this setting, a well structured, but highly interactive, student centered instructional dialogue is conducted, creating a purpose driven, socially interactive learning environment. KEY COMPONENT #3TECHNOLOGY ENHANCED APPLICATION
Redemptive Life Academy has invested considerable resources into the preparation of a state of the art, internet accessible, Computer Learning Center in each classroom.
All technology applications have been designed in accordance with the Florida Sunshine State Standards to insure supplemental enhancement of basic curriculum instruction.
In addition to basic classroom utilization, performance based individual incentive programs are available for students demonstrating particular aptitude and or interest in computer sciences.
